"As material technologies improve, we are able revisit characters and bring more to their interpretation than was previously possible. This is our first time fully utilizing these technologies: completely transparent resins, a skull behind the skin of his face, improved 3D printing techniques... We really felt the need to revisit the King of the Dead and showcase him not just as a physical being, but an ethereal one, much like he appeared on screen."
